We offer individual pet aquamation so your pet’s remains are not intermingled with others.
Here at Yadkin Valley Pet Funeral Services in Elkin, North Carolina, we believe that to treat a pet family member with the respect they deserve after a lifetime of duty, love, and joy, individual pet aquamation is a better option.
Our individual pet aquamation is performed in a flameless process called alkaline hydrolysis, also known as aquamation. This is a water-based process that breaks down the remains in a manner similar to what occurs after burial. With a combination of water flow, temperature, and alkalinity to accelerate nature’s process, your pet’s remains are ready for an urn in roughly 20 hours. Pets are given individual spaces and separated from one another to prevent co-mingling, so you can be confident you take home your own pet and only your pet.
The remains from this manner of individual pet aquamation are 100% safe. Since they are pathogen and disease free, you can feel confident in burying or scattering them in a special place without fear of contamination. The process leaves only mineral bone that resembles fine sand. You won’t have the black, carbonized ash that results from a fire-based cremation.
If you would like to learn more about our individual pet aquamation or make pre-need arrangements, don’t hesitate to contact us. We offer a variety of pet funeral services and pet memorial products designed to assist you while you grieve.
